Neurodiversity Affirming Therapy

I identify as a neurodivergent clinician and spent a year working as a Clinical Director at an agency that services intellectually disabled and neurodivergent adults. I bring a neurodiversity affirming approach into my therapeutic work with neurodivergent identified clients. This includes the spectrum of the autistic, ADHD, dyslexia, non-verbal learning disability, Tourette’s syndrome, obsessive compulsive disorder dyspraxia communities.

I believe that the wiring of our body-minds or our neurotype is not a problem to be cured or solved, it’s just a fact! Each body-mind comes with its unique strengths, needs, and challenges and that diversity is a beautiful thing that makes our society richer. Self-diagnosis is completely valid because you know your own body-mind better than anyone else. I will support you with unmasking, addressing burnout, self-advocacy skills, navigating sensory needs so that you can live a richer and fuller life.
